Yes, this is from one of those famous “drive by shootings”. On Sunday, hubby and I were driving around when I spied this remains of a tree. I had my camera with and asked my husband to go back so I could make a photo. It’s funny and yet ironic how the holes drilled into it by a woodpecker form the face of a ghost. I had to shoot it, I couldn’t resist.

The storm this past weekend left a coat of ice on everything which is very pretty. When the sun hit things just right it looked like glass. But boy is that a bear to drive in!

Just wanted to share more of my Nessel Township project that I started in August.

On this particular morning the mist was rising off this little lake called Stauffer Lake. It’s located in the south-west corner of the Township. I honestly don’t think a picture does this lake justice but I had to try anyway.
